How to find a doctor near you
A directory can help you narrow a search. It cannot determine which clinician or service is right for you.
Start with the information you know
Search by a provider name when you already have one. Otherwise, begin with a city, ZIP code, or distance and select the specialty most relevant to your search. Use the result pages to identify practices whose public contact details are convenient for you.
Read a profile as a source record
A profile can summarize public NPI-listed information such as the provider name, taxonomy, practice address, and phone number. It is useful for comparison, but it is not a recommendation, a clinical evaluation, or confirmation of current availability.
Confirm current details
Call or visit the practice to confirm services, office hours, availability, accessibility, insurance participation, and whether the provider is accepting patients. Verify professional licensure through the relevant state board when that is important to your decision.
Use urgent-care resources when appropriate
This directory is not for emergencies. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact local emergency services or go to the nearest emergency department.
